He has been recognised for his business contributions to Australia having been awarded the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence award in 2007.

In 2007, Peter was one of the youngest individuals to have been appointed to the Board of Directors of an Australian Retail Bank – Laiki Bank (Australia) now Bank of Sydney.
He went from humble beginnings to completing an Economics and Finance Degree and Master’s in Finance by the age of 24 before moving to the United States holding various positions with PacifiCorp INC (and its subsidiary Powercor Australia Limited), where he served as the Financial Risk Management Director of PacifiCorp leading the Risk Management program and one of the largest utility Merger & Acquisition transactions in the world. PacifiCorp’s $US12B bid for UK Energy giant The Energy Group. This involved one of the largest FX and interest rate hedging programs undertaken at that time. Prior to PacifiCorp, Peter was a Corporate Banker in Australia.
Following his return to Australia, Peter was the founder and Managing Director of IT services business S Central that grew from a start-up into one of Australia’s largest and most successful privately-owned IT companies with revenues exceeding $50 million p.a and offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, ACT and Brisbane. S Central experienced tremendous growth year after year for 10 years and was sold in November 2009.
